1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Ontario Security Guard Training Centre ("OSGTC") website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. OSGTC is a division of Maxama Protection Inc, located at 234 Romaine Street, Peterborough, Ontario K9J 2C5.

2. Course Enrollment

• You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in our courses.
• You must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Course access is granted for 365 days from the date of purchase.
• Your enrollment is for individual use only. Sharing login credentials is prohibited.
• We reserve the right to revoke access if terms are violated.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD). The Security Guard Basic Training course is priced at $99. Bundle discounts are applied automatically when multiple courses are selected. Payment is processed securely through Square. All prices are final and inclusive. We do not charge hidden fees.

4. Pass Guarantee and Refund Policy

We guarantee that students who complete our training program will pass the Ontario Ministry security guard exam. If you complete the full course and do not pass the Ministry exam on your first attempt, we will refund your course fee upon submission of proof of exam failure. This guarantee applies only to the Security Guard Basic Training course.

Refund requests for other reasons may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase if you wish to request a refund.

5. Course Content and Intellectual Property

All course materials, including videos, text, quizzes, and practice exams, are the intellectual property of OSGTC and Maxama Protection Inc. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or share any course content without written permission.

6. Certification and Licensing

Upon successful completion of the course, OSGTC will issue a Training Completion Number (TCN) required to book your Ministry exam. OSGTC is an Ontario-certified training facility. However, we do not guarantee employment, and obtaining your security guard licence is subject to Ministry requirements including passing the exam, completing First Aid certification, and passing a criminal background check.

7. Student Conduct

You agree to:

• Complete all coursework honestly and without unauthorized assistance
• Not share your login credentials with others
• Not attempt to circumvent course requirements or assessments
• Treat instructors and staff with respect

8. Limitation of Liability

OSGTC provides training services to prepare students for the Ontario security guard licensing exam. We are not liable for exam results, licensing decisions made by the Ontario Ministry, employment outcomes, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

9. Website Use

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with the proper working of the website, or transmit any malicious code or content.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
